The task

A Jigger was constructed in a way that energy consumptium is held as low as possible, while high efficiency in production is achieved at the same time.
The result, the Vario Line Jigger, is a universal precision Jigger, processing even the most difficult woven goods. The Vario Line Jigger is built with roller widths up to 4000 mm and three differents models for a maximum fabric diameter of 1000/ 1200/ 1400 mm.
Rational energy consumption is supported by latest control techniques as well as innovative construction and materials from space technology.

Electronic

The Vario Line Jigger is electronically controlled via the most modern processors. All electronic elements are manufactured in Germany and ensure uninterrupted run of the rollers, safe opening and closing of the inspection windows, control of the liquor volume etc.

Inspection windows

Two big inspection windows offer ideal monitoring of the fabric during the process, supported by the very latest neon tube technology. Both inspection windows are open and closed electrically. The hermetical closure of the inspection windows ensures constant inside temperature in the hood area which ensures level dyeing throughout the whole batch. Furthermore the development of condensed water drops is also avoided.

Fabric guiding

The shaping of the expanders serves the further improvement of a perfect dyeing and washing result. Both expanders are adjustable in themselves and allow for an even smoother transport of the woven. This design of the expander lips also protects the most sensitive kinds of fabric.

Heat exchanger

The use of high efficiency plate heat exchanger enables fast heating up or cooling down of the liquor. The large surface allows high energy transmission. The plate construction permits easy maintenance and less chance of clogging up with fluff. Both aspects increase production efficiency drastically. The bath temperature is reached much faster and due to perfect sealing of the Vario Line Jigger, the temperature is kept constantly. Much shorter passage times are a logical consequence.

Ceramic bearings

The use of ceramic in comparison to carbonic/ steel ball bearings allows ultra smooth run of the main rollers in the jigger. The normal tension applied to the fabric, which causes loss of elasticity remains minimal to none. In the case of a Vario Line Jigger special spheric ball bearings are built in, which absorb small radial and axial forces. These units contain two layers of bearings with hollow balls in the cup track. The possibility in angle positioning is quite high, which reduces alignment faults, axial bending and housing deformation due to high temperature. Ceramic bearings are non-magnetic, non-conductive, wear and corrosion resistant. They run smoothly without oil or greaseand at any temperature. The maintenance required is much less.
